1 x Packet Plantein Plant-Based Garlic Kievs
6 Sheets Filo Pastry
Butter or Olive Oil (for brushing)
1 ½ tsp Sesame + Poppyseeds (mixed)
1 Cup Parsley (finely chopped)
1 Cup Arugula
1 Tomato (sliced)
½ Red Onion (diced)
2 Tbsp Hemp Seeds
Heat the oven to 180⁰C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Lay out a sheet of filo pastry, brush with olive oil or butter and lay a second sheet on top. Brush again with olive oil. Repeat again. Place one kiev 3/4 from the bottom of the filo sheet stack and gently fold, scoop and roll. Tuck both loose ends underneath to form a neat parcel. Brush the outside with your choice of butter or olive oil and place on the prepared baking tray with the seam-side down. Repeat this process for the remaining kiev.
Sprinkle the parcels with a mixture of poppy and sesame seeds. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are crisp and golden.
Meanwhile, combine all salad ingredients and drizzle over your favourite dressing. Serve your kievs warm out of the oven with a side of salad. Enjoy!
